Mary Attard għandha 63-il sena. L-entużjażmu u l- enerġija tagħha huma ta’ ispirazzjoni għal kuħadd. Mary kienet attendiet l-ewwel Mentoring Circle™ żgħir li sar waqt ‘SME week Expo Fair, Malta Fairs & Convention Centre (MFCC)’ ta’ Qali fl-14 ta’ Ottubru, 2011, bil-għan li nisa bħalha jitħajjru jattendu il-kumplament. Hi uriet ħafna interess fil-Mentoring Circles™ u kienet waħda mill-ewwel nisa li imliet l-applikazzjoni biex tattendi.

VITECO held an entrepreneurship training in Catania for group of 11 people (from which 9 women over 45) who are at risk of being dismissed for the financial problems of the company. However, the managers decided to help them to organise a different set of trainings, including a training on entrepreneurial skills and on how to set up a business.

The fe:male project has been chosen by our funding body as an example of a successful project, and we've been asked to present our experiences at a meeting of other projects being run by UK co-ordinators. We’ll have the opportunity to discuss the impact the project’s had on both female entrepreneurs who’ve been involved and project partners, either in the Mentoring Circles or in the Network.

Since the early 1980s, VHTO, the Dutch National Expert Organisation on Girls/Women and Science/Technology, has been building up knowledge and experience of the participation of girls and women in the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and deploying this expertise in areas such as education.
